I read this blog and a few things came to mind... The post was slightly confusing to me. I wasn't exactly sure what this person was getting at when they talk about "someone to be envied by a bunch of hateful frat boys." However, the clip is hilarious but simple, in contrast to some of the raunchy gay jokes that are particularly insulting to homosexuals. In this clip, it's more Kevin's stupidity that makes the joke funny, not necessarily the joke itself.
I agree with the author that this is the proper way to make a gay joke because it's tasteful without being insulting.
